Tori was diagnosed with translocation renal cell carcinoma (tRCC) in September 2023 and faced nearly two years of treatments with remarkable strength and determination. A National Honor Society student and avid tennis player, she graduated Cum Laude while completing high school through distance learning. In August 2025, Tori passed away at age 18 from TFE3 PEComa, a rare and aggressive kidney cancer. Her legacy is a powerful reminder of why research matters and why children and young adults with rare cancers deserve better treatments and more hope.
