9th Annual Chefs for Kids’ Cancer NYC: A Night of Flavor, Generosity and Hope

New York City’s top chefs, who combined are the equivalent of an all-star team, came together for an unforgettable evening where world-class cuisine met a cause that resonates with everyone. Chefs for Kids’ Cancer brought together extraordinary food, meaningful moments and a shared commitment to funding critical pediatric cancer research. The evening was hosted by award-winning singer and actor Christopher Jackson, who served as MC and delivered a special performance.

Held in Manhattan at the Metropolitan Pavilion, the event welcomed hundreds of supporters for a night that showcased the generosity and creativity of the culinary community, all in support of kids fighting cancer. 

The Night at a Glance

• 400+ "Good Cookies" filled the room with heart and generosity

• 50+ all-star savory and pastry chefs served up more than 2,900 courses including a personal-sized hot apple pie for every guest

• 25+ dedicated sponsors made this evening possible

• 14,000 cookies baked by local pastry chefs, making the night even sweeter
  

• A record-breaking amount raised to fund critical childhood cancer research and treatments
  

The evening began with a cocktail reception featuring custom-curated cocktails and delicious appetizer bites crafted by talented mixologists and chefs. It was followed by a seated dinner, with each table enjoying a meal curated by some of New York City’s top chefs, and a mini homemade apple pie served fresh from the oven for dessert by Executive Pastry Chef Scott Cioe from the ever-popular Lafayette Grand Café. After the dinner and program concluded, guests received one final treat, a bag filled with nearly three dozen cookies from incredible pastry chefs across New York.

Chefs for Kids’ Cancer was a powerful reminder of what compassion, community and great food can achieve together. Thank you to every guest, chef, sponsor and volunteer who made this extraordinary night one to remember.
